Allison Kray guides businesses through disputes and workforce challenges with strategy and foresight, supporting clients through every stage of litigation and helping them stay ahead of risk.

She represents companies in complex civil litigation, with a focus on class actions and high-stakes business disputes. Her experience spans breach of contract, false advertising, California’s Unfair Competition Law (UCL), and related business torts. Allison has handled matters from early case strategy through discovery, hearings, and dispositive motion practice, always with an eye toward resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

On the employment side, she advises on compliance and risk management, particularly in wage and hour matters. Her experience includes defending class and representative actions brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), involving claims of misclassification, off-the-clock work, and meal and rest break violations. Clients value Allison’s thoughtful approach, practical instincts, and ability to resolve disputes with an eye toward business continuity and long-term growth.

Beyond her legal practice, Allison serves on the board of directors of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association, advancing education, unity, and excellence in the Hispanic legal community.

Representative Matters

  • Class Action Litigation: Counseled an insurance broker involved in a class action lawsuit. Conducted legal research and assisted with pretrial preparation, including review of exhibits for trial and drafting a joint exhibit list.
  • Complex Litigation: Researched and drafted a complaint against a client’s former employee who violated a restrictive employment covenant by misappropriating trade secrets, including client lists, in order to aid a competitor.
  • Commercial Litigation: Researched and drafted portions of a successful opposition to a motion to compel production of electronic discovery based on duplicative information.
  • Employment Harassment Litigation: Researched and drafted a mediation brief on behalf of a private jet aviation company involved in a sexual harassment lawsuit. The suit resulted in a successful mediation, minimizing client’s potential litigation costs.
